Thane at the University of Arizona Mall

For a recent AD Lighting class we had to do some night photography.  I'm not posting any of those shots!  Because it's for school, I took these of my little monster while we were waiting for the sun to go down.  He found a new friend a 6 week old lab puppy, they played and wouldn't stop play no matter how much they got pulled apart.  This just goes to show that this kid really loves animals.  He was doing everything he wanted to do to Drizzt, that our dog won't let me him do like hug him, carry him LOL and just chase him around.  They took turns chasing each other it was just too cute.

Kind of preemptive I guess.  Caught my son recently waiting by the pantry for food.  He is now into telling me when he is hungry and signs food all day long.  This was a right before a full fledged melt down over a snack.  I should have done that blog why my kid is crying!  :P

The McGuire Family

After the Great Cloth Diaper Change I met the McGuire family.  I was booked with them under the hope that little Liam would be born before his Dad left for deployment.  Little Liam made into this world naturally and quickly, with beautiful red hair!  Thankfully for the family Dad got to spend some time with him before he headed out.  I hope the little guy is doing great and that Dad comes home safe and sound.  

The Boys

Sometimes, you just have to celebrate the beauty and love of what you have.  I'm truly amazed each and everyday when I see my boys together.  As it stands we are so lucky to even have this time together and then to have this beautiful little boy in our lives.  

My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years and have spent 17 months apart during this marriage due to training and deployments.  

I'm so lucky have married a lovely and wonderful man that cares for us and loves our son more than words can say.  I hope he can pass on his passion for music to our boy, or if he decides to follow the more artsy path like his Mama I won't mind.  The Arizona sun never lets me down.  

April 2013 Month of the Military Child Landon

I just got this one done.  The photos were taken during April, I just finally got around to editing them.  I've been so lucky to get the chance to work with so many wonderful families I got a little backed up with this one.  Landon is a silly boy to say the least and always so much fun to work with!

Bat Mitzvah

I just completed my first Bat Mitzvah, it was a very fun event and certainly interesting learning about a religion I didn't know that much about.  It was so nice because the Rabbi and the family kept me in the loop about what was very important to photograph.  It was also neat that the entire event took place outside, which I think the family wanted to create a more fun atmosphere for the event.  I should say it was certainly a learning experience!

This family was so fun to photograph too!  It was a very fun day and I couldn't have asked for a more laid back cool family to photograph!
